Dolomitic Hydrated Lime (Ca(OH)2, MgO)
The Dolomitic Hydrated Lime is produced by adding water to the Dololime at normal conditions so the Calcium Oxide compound only gets hydrated according to the following chemical reaction:
CaO, MgO + H2O → Ca(OH)2, MgO
This process is performed with the help of fully automatic controlled machineries. It entails using a certain ratio of pure water with special mixing methods to hydrate the Dololime and ultimately get the Dolomitic Hydrated Lime (Dolomitic Hydroxide “Ca(OH)2, MgO”).
MOST COMMON APPLICATIONS PER SIZE:
The Dolomitic Hydrated Lime is useful in several applications including construction, agricultural and industrial:
- Construction; For lime putty manufacturing.
- Agricultural; A source for calcium and magnesium nutrients essential for maintenance and suitable plant growth. It also improves soil condition and agricultural output.
- Industrial; Suitable for acid neutralization process, and also treatment of hazardous wastes.
- Oil & Gas: Utilized for drilling process, and in mud drilling operations
